Anthony Tony Sawyer Horton is commonly known as Americas Trainer because he is the most wellknown and recognizable male personal trainer in the USA He is a personal trainer creator of many exercise video series several books former standup comedian infomercial actor and movie actor He moved from the East Coast to California at a young age and while trying to break into acting other actors noticed how fit he was and hired them to train him including Tom Petty He was instrumental in changing the genre of exercise videos from being produced as a lowbudget cheesy afterthought into professionally produced highquality content His most famous revolutionary exercise program is P90X It was followed by P90X2 and P90X3 In 2017 Tony revealed he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome But after a 2 year break he came out with his latest series called Tony Hortons Next Level In 2014 Tony married Shawna Brannon who also appears in P90X3 They live in the greater Los Angeles area Tony is now in his 60s and still going strong active on Facebook other social media and in public life conducting regular interviews to help Americans stay in shape
