Charlbi Dean Kriek February 5 1990 August 29 2022 was a South African actress and model She was raised in Cape Town and at age six she began her modelling career In 2010 Charlbi made her acting debut in the film Spud as Amanda She reprised her role as Amanda in the films sequel Spud 2 The Madness Continues She then went to star in films such as Dont Sleep 2018 and An Interview with God 2019 In 2022 she starred in the Palme dOr winning film Triangle of Sadness A few months after Triangle of Sadness premiered Dean died of an unexpected illness on August 29 2022 She was 32
