Jonathan David Bennett born June 10 1981 is an American actor and television host He is known for his roles as Aaron Samuels in the comedy film Mean Girls 2004 Bud McNulty in Cheaper by the Dozen 2 2005 the title character in the comedy Van Wilder Freshman Year 2009 and his recurring role as Casey Gant in the mystery drama series Veronica Mars He was the host of Food Networks series Halloween Wars and he also hosted Cake Wars as well as Christmas Cookie Challenge He also stars and costars in numerous Hallmark and TV movies
