Serena is an awardwinning Filmmaker and Director of 2017s BFI supported Film London short film Blackout won Best Short Film at both Birmingham Film Festival and Southampton International Film Festival as well as several more awards Her first short film 2016s Lady in the Park which screened in the UK and internationally also won 2 awards with a further eight nominations Serena trained as an actress at Court Theatre Training Company and as a Filmmaker at Raindance Serenas focus is making films which highlight underrepresented members of society
