Margit Carlqvist is a Swedish stage and screen actress She was admitted to the Royal Dramatic Theatres acting school in 1949 at the age of 17 She made her film debut in Ingmar Bergmans Till glädjeTo Joy 1950 She starred in many movies during the 1950s mostly as some kind of vamp Internationally she is perhaps most known for her role in Ingmar Bergmans Smiles of a Summer Night 1955
