Michal Vinik studied scriptwriting and filmmaking at TelAviv University and majored as a director in the MFA program winning two scholarships for excellence Her first short film Bait was screened at the Sundance Film Festival in 2009 her second short Blank was presented at the 2011 Locarno Film Festival Her feature film debut Barash premiered at the 2015 San Sebastian International Film Festival Shes currently working on her second film Christinas Child
