Leland Montgomery is an LA based writer and director In 2015 his web series God Particles won the International Academy of Web Television for Best Microbudget Series In 2016 his short film Cruisers screened at Cinema Diverse In 2017 He wrote and directed the short film Like Animals which went on to screen at the 40th Asian American Film Festival The San Diego Asian American Film Festival and LA Shorts International In 2019 He wrote and directed the short film Black Cat in a Dark Room which screened at Fantasia Fest Outfests Genre Night Hollyshorts The Calgary International Film Festival Sidewalk Film Festival Chattanooga Film Festival and The Catalina Film Festival where it won the Wes Craven Award for Best Horror Short
