Michael Wayne Rosen born 7 May 1946 is a British childrens author poet presenter political columnist broadcaster and activist who has written 140 books He is Professor of Childrens Literature at Goldsmiths University of London He was the UKs Childrens Laureate from 2007 to 2009 Since 1998 he has presented Word Of Mouth BBC Radio 4s weekly show about the English Language He is married to EmmaLouise Williams
