Born in Istanbul Reha Erdem has graduated from Cinema Department of Paris 8 University He obtained his MA in Plastic Arts at the same university He shot his first featurelength film A AY in 1988 as a FrenchTurkish coproduction He shot KAC PARA KAC in 1999 INSAN NEDIR KIiKORKUYORUM ANNE in 2004 BES VAKIT in 2006 HAYAT VAR in 2008 and KOSMOS in 2010 His latest two films are JIN and SARKI SOYLEYEN KADINLAR 2013 He wrote all of his films except for INSAN NEDIR KIiKORKUYORUM ANNE for which he was one of the cowriters He has also directed short films and a theater play Les bonnes by Jean Genet He is now working on two new projects
