Gustavo Sánchez Parra studied at the most famous Dramatic Art school in Mexico the Centro Universitario de Teatro He landed his first role in Alejandro González Iñárritus debut Amores Perros for which he was nominated for an Ariel for Best Supporting Actor Then he worked in national and international productions such as Ridley Scotts The Fire of Vengeance The Three Burials of Melquíades Estrada by Tommy Lee Jones Rabia by Sebastián Cordero and Crónicas produced by Guillermo del Toro among more than 35 films He was awarded the Honorary Prize at the Morelia Festival for having appeared in more than 40 short films
