Deacon Ledges Boston Stergis is from Freedom Maine where he began acting in high school He holds a BFA in acting directing from Syracuse University He moved to Los Angeles in 2004 after 10 years in New Yorks downtown theater scene Deacon is also a black belt and former competitive kick boxer as well as a musician and songwriter playing the piano and guitar He founded the band The Freedom Ledges in 2008 with whom he performs and records and took the stage name Deacon Ledges
