Jaroslav Marvan was a Czechoslovakian actor He was born in Prague and married in the 1920s to Marie Marvanov He was a member of numerous Czech theatres of note throughout the early 20th century including the Vlasta Burians theatre Vinohradské Divadlo 19431950 Městská Divadla Pražská 19501954 and finally Národní Divadlo national theatre where he served for until two years before his death in 1972
