Christina was born in Guangzhou China but immigrated to the US at the age of one and grew up in Rowland Heights CA She has a BA in Communication from the University of Southern California She speaks Cantonese and some Spanish Christinas love of performing began at the young age of four seizing any opportunity to be onstage Where there wasnt a stage she would makeshift her own Spending much of her afterschool hours at her dads garment factory in Chinatown she would flip over a tub stand on it and sing Happy Birthday for the dozens of workers there She played piano for 11 years and started taking acting classes auditioning and involving herself in high school theater productions However it wasnt until after graduating from USC that she decided to make the leap and pursue acting seriously Since then she has completed a twoyear Meisner program with Alex Taylor at The Taylor School of Acting and starred in a number of feature films and short films Sinful being her most recent work
