Siddhant Chaturvedi is an Indian actor He was born in Nagwa Ballia Uttar Pradesh to a chartered accountant father and a homemaker mother He moved to Mumbai with his family when he was 5 years old A graduate from Mithibai College Siddhant was pursuing a career in Chartered Accountancy balancing it with theatre However after winning a national talent hunt organized by Bombay Times he decided to concentrate only on his passion for the performing arts He is trained in Western and Classical dance Martial Arts and Parkour to complement his expertise in acting His other interests include painting and poetry writing He began his career starring in a youthoriented sitcom Life Sahi hai by Luv Ranjan Luv films followed by Amazons first IndianAmerican web series Inside Edge which earned him widespread critical praise The series was nominated for Best Drama series at 46th International Emmy Awards He has featured in a number of TV commercials including an international ad campaign for CocaCola He made his big Bollywood debut in the film Gully Boy directed by Zoya Akhtar
