Torgny Wickman was a Swedish phographer and film director At 24 in 1935 he founded the production company EllweFilm Three years later he made Godag staty a portrait of the artist Carl Milles and his huge garden at Lidingö in Stockholm He also entered the Swedish film history as director of Ur Kärlekens språkLanguage of Love 1969 a sex education film that attracted attention all over the world and gained a few spinoffs Torgny Wickman produced 16 feature films and documentaries from 1954 to 1977 He claims to have been responsible for some 1 600 shorts
