While she waits for the final test results of her cancer, Dash becomes drawn into a case involving one of her old and trusted school teachers. A surveillance camera catches Karen attempting to smother her baby girl, and when the video tape goes missing, Dash is immediately a suspect. When Adam is seen with the womans husband, he is also placed under suspicion. As they fear for the jobs and worry about the upcoming doctors appointment, Adam and Dash find comfort in each others arms.
