Since her mother died, the bubbly and outgoing Dawn has felt trapped, looking after her father and three brothers who take her for granted. She can no longer stand living at home and asks for refuge at Paulines house, much to Brians annoyance. Nita is 23 weeks pregnant and her husband Kieren pleads with her to reconsider her decision to make an appointment with a doctor about having an abortion.
