While giving speech therapy to Nadine, a motion picture star who suffers a stroke, Dr. Welby learns that her husband, Lucas, has set up a television documentary in which Nadine is to show that people do recover full and quickly from strokes. In addition, the documentary lets the public know that she will soon be returning to motion pictures. Lucas does not heed Dr. Welbys warning that the strain of the show may prove extremely dangerous.
