Charlie questions Tom about his fooling around in Lous Diner. Mary visits the men at the plant. Merle returns Maes pornographic research when shes released from jail to leave Fernwood. Charlie attempts to subtly warn Mary about Toms behavior, prompting Mary to go to the diner in Dayton. Tom tells Loretta that shes Charlies wife, but she becomes angry and rejects everything he says. After Loretta reassures him that they didnt sleep together, Tom embraces her, but Mary arrives and leaves upset after spotting him in the arms of another woman.
