After the family makes fun of Rebas poor eyesight, she secretly gets laser eye surgery, which leaves her temporarily blind. Barbra Jean insists on helping Reba post-surgery while the rest of the family is away. Later, thinking she is talking to Cheynne, Reba badmouths Barbra Jean, only to find out shes been talking to Barbra Jean the whole time. Overwhelmed with guilt for the hurtful things she said, and with Brocks help, Reba finally tells Barbra Jean how thankful she is for their friendship.
