Rosemary and Laura are called to Paris by Rosemarys old friend Dorothy, to catalog the plants in the 150 year-old gardens at her Riviera Villa (Villa Galavany) in order for them to be opened to the public. The duo realize they will face problems when one of Dorothys neighbors called James Pretty makes it known he feels strongly against hordes of visitors coming to the area. Things get more hostile when Dorothys husband Kasper is found dead, and one of her valuable pieces of silver is stolen...
