Lamonts friend Herman has just gotten out of prison and doesnt have a place to stay. So Lamont invites him to stay at the Sanford residence. However, when Grady learns that hes an ex-con, he nails down everything in the house. Meanwhile, Lamont finds Herman a job at Esthers hardware store and doesnt tell her that he has served time.
