Behind schedule, Kit finds a passage that will get them home quicker. Baloo complies, but then inquires why hes never heard of this route. Kit tells him its the Mirle Pass. Baloo panics, because the Mirle Pass takes a miracle to get through. They end up landing in the ocean and Baloo bangs his head. When he wakes up, he cant remember anything including how to fly. When Wildcat and Kit take him back up, they get caught in a thunderstorm. Theyre forced to bail, but Baloo gets trapped behind in the Sea Duck. Hes rescued when a man named Joe McGee coaches him down over the radio. McGee attempts to help him overcome his fear of flying and remember his many successful flights.
